About me
Eden Morris, MS, RD, LD
I started playing softball competitively at a young age, but it wasn’t until I started competing at the collegiate level that I realized the importance of nutrition in performance and overall health. The impact of eating certain foods and the timing of those foods before, during, and after activity can truly make a tremendous difference in performance for any athlete - amateur, elite, or professional.
After graduating with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University, I pursued a Master’s of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and completed my dietetic internship at Georgia State University. I spent the next few years working as a clinical dietitian in hospitals in Georgia and Texas. I moved to Jackson, Wyoming in 2018, and I rediscovered my love for the outdoors by hiking, climbing, and skiing in the Tetons.
I founded my private practice in June 2020 to provide nutrition counseling to active individuals who share a love for the outdoors no matter the season. I help clients reach their health goals with evidence-based and practical knowledge, and I am always reading and learning about the latest nutrition science in order to best serve my clients.
In 2022, I pivoted away from weight-centric care to become a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor. I’m a weight-inclusive provider who believes there is no specific ‘look’ for an athlete, a fueled body performs better in all phases of life, and food is more than fuel.
If I’m not working as a dietitian, I am most likely biking trails around town or in Grand Teton National Park, camping with my boyfriend, or skiing in Jackson Hole.
